Gift cards are delivered by email and contain instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

All orders are hand-forged in Asia and then stocked in Cranberry in New Jersey, US.

Please allow between 2-3 business days for our artisans to hand-forge your special knives. They are then packaged and shipped out.

USA USPS: 7-20 business days

Rest of the World Flat Rate: 7-25 business days

The shipping cost does not cover the customs duty for your local country. By paying for your order you are accepting responsibility to pay for any duty or customs fee charged by your local customs.

Washing: Always hand wash each knife with a soft sponge and then towel dry after every use. Never machine wash.

All of our high carbon steel knives require a layer of oil after being washed. Please refer to your free e-book download for full instructions.

Sharpening: All of our blades leave the workshop with an edge angle of 15°. To maintain this edge for a lifetime it is recommended to use good quality sharpening stones regularly.

The lifetime warranty guarantee entitles you to a one-time repair of the knife or sheath - free of charge. We will repair the item if you experience any defects in craftsmanship or breakage, when properly used and maintained.

Great experience

I ordered my first Japaknives 2 months ago and it has become an extension of me. As I scrambled around last-minute to get a Christmas gift for my best friend, I realized how much they would enjoy a Japaknives but it would never arrive in time for tomorrow. So these gift cards have literally saved my life! Just purchased one and received it via email as expected. I'm going to print it out and put it on a card to physically hand it to my mate.
